CCARDESA facilitated a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) and Advisory Services Tools from the 20th to 24th of March 2023, in Harare, Zimbabwe. According to Dr. Joab Osumba, CSA Specialist, governments on the African continent needed to take a leading role in mitigating climate change. "The problem we have is that we have scientists and technocrats who know everything about CSA, but their knowledge and ideas do not work if our governments do not chip in through policing or financing in order to achieve our CSA", he said.
