1. CALL FOR PROPOSALS- Girls and Young Women in Human Rights Advocacy Award,2023

Plan International with the goal of advancing Children’s rights and equality for girls, works to ensure they are equipped with the tools, platforms, knowledge and resources they need to identify barriers and conquer obstacles., Girls’ and young women’s efforts must be recognized and actively promoted, while also protecting them from threats and violence and taking concrete steps to remove structural barriers and systemic disadvantages that they face. In line with this, it is also important to critically look into the shrinking civil society spaces as one of the reasons to create a platform for girls’ activism.

2. Call for Grant Proposals – Accelerating Inclusive Green Growth Through Agri-based Digital Innovation in West Africa (Up to EUR 663,000)

The ‘Accelerating inclusive green growth through agri-based digital innovation in West Africa (AGriDI)’ intervention supports innovations to address key challenges related to climate change, sustainable use, and management of biodiversity as well as responsible production and consumption among farming communities in West Africa. It is funded through the ACP Innovation Fund of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS),0000 financed by the European Union (EU), and implemented by the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe), under its Regional Coordination Unit of the Regional Scholarship and Innovation Fund (RSIF), in partnership with the University of Abomey Calavi, (Benin), and Agropolis Foundation (France) and Gearbox Pan African Network (Kenya).

3. The African Union Innovating Education in Africa Call for Submissions for 2023
In this context, Innovating Education in Africa (IEA) was established in 2018 by the African Union (AU) with the aim of identifying, promoting, and supporting the systemic adoption and replication of education innovations in all aspects of education and training in Africa. The IEA program is designed to generate and validate solutions to persistent education and training challenges in Africa and to support the expansion and scale of effective solutions. Since the inception of the program, over 1,500 education stakeholders across Africa have been engaged, and 180 innovations have been promoted and supported with up to 1 million USD.
