Subject: [afaas-net] The Next Digitalisation in Agricultural Extension and Advisory Services (D4AEAS)
Dear all,
After the highly successful first webinar on “Digitalisation of Extension and Advisory Services- D4AEAS” held last month, we invite you to a very practical case/demonstration of what is possible with Digital Services for farmers in Africa.
AFAAS is linking up with long term partners in providing “farmer to farmer” training videos in local languages – Access Agriculture.
Co-founder, Phil Malone will lead us through how quality videos can help all extension providers especially at this time of COVID.
He will be joined by two young entrepreneurs Simon Adriko, who is based in the North West of Uganda showing videos to refugees and local farmers and Osman Majid (DJ Osman) who sells videos to farmers in Malawi on the outskirts of Lilongwe.
The session will help us draw 10 KEY POINTS/LESSONS from the use of digital tools in extension.
