Subject: APHLIS PHL LEARNING LAB TRAINING - 27 to 28 July 2022
Dear all,
The CAADP Post-harvest Loss Indicator has been identified as an indicator that presents challenges in terms of data source and metrics presentation. The African Postharvest Losses Information System (APHLIS)<https://www.aphlis.net/en> provides PHL information on a range of cereal crops, and this information can be used to report on the CAADP PHL Indicator and on the impact of post-harvest losses. To raise awareness of the APHLIS system and train users on generating PHL data from APHLIS, APHLIS will conduct a series of PHL Learning Lab Training from 27 to 28 July 2022. Three training sessions will be carried out: two in English and one in French (translation). The attached concept note provides more information.
CAADP focal persons and those who work on PHL management and policy are encouraged to register for the training sessions set according to regions below.
