Dear PAEPARD Colleagues,

Hope this mail finds youwell.

The Pan African Farmers Organization (PAFO) is conducting a studyto examine the success stories of African youth agripreneurs, exploremechanisms to scale up agricultural innovations and intensify support for youthin agriculture on the continent.

We would be glad if youth agripreneurs can participate in thisstudy and share their stories to boost others to venture into agriculture as abusiness.

For the purpose of the study, we are looking for youth agripreneurs with thefollowing characteristics:

1.     An African youth.

2.     Between the ages of 18 and 35 years.

3.     Has been engaged inagripreneurship for 3 years and above.

4.     Has received support (financial,training, farm demonstrations, farm input etc.) from PAFO and/or its regional andnational partners including Eastern African Farmers Federation (EAFF) inEastern Africa, Network of Farmers and Producers Organization in WestAfrica (ROPPA) in Western Africa, Regional Platform of FarmersOrganizations of Central Africa (PROPAC) in Central Africa, Maghrebian andNorth Africa Union of Farmers (UMNAGRI) in Northern Africa, and SouthernAfrican Confederation of Agricultural Unions (SACAU) in Southern Africa.

5.     Has motivating and success storiesand lessons on the impact of his/her agribusiness on development in the country/continent.
6.     Has adopted innovations forhis/her agripreneurship/agribusiness.
